"With Stefan’s consistency and passion for running, I crossed the finish line of the Leadville 100"
"I was recommend to partner with Stefan by a local running company in Denver and I’m so glad I did. I had a crazy, personal goal to run the Leadville 100 ultramarathon, the only catch, was that I had never run an ultramarathon or even a marathon for that matter. Stefan and I met via Zoom and I quickly recognized his passion for running and nutrition. He developed a custom training plan to meet my busy schedule and we were off. As part of the program, we met bi-weekly via Zoom to discuss the nutrition, science, and plan of attack for the upcoming race. His knowledge was superb and he shared tips & strategies that I would need to make my goal a reality. When race day came, Stefan was there by my side as we crossed the finish line. Thank you Stefan for your support and thank you for helping me accomplish a life achievement- I couldn’t have done it without you!”

“Working with Coach Stefan completely changed my approach to ultra running. He successfully prepared me for the demanding Never Summer 100k and, more importantly, taught me how to grow as an athlete. His guidance was invaluable, and I'm looking forward to continuing my ultra running journey.”

“A few years ago, I never worked with coaches. But after working with a few great ones, I’ve learned that the right coach can save you a ton of time, money, and mistakes.
When I decided to train for the Grand Canyon R2R2R (Rim to Rim to Rim), a friend connected me with Stefan. From our first conversation, I felt completely comfortable. He wanted to make sure we were a good fit before starting. There was zero pressure or sales pitch.
One of the biggest selling points for me was that he’s a Registered Dietitian and an experienced ultrarunner himself, having completed multiple ultras, including Moab 240. Even though I know quite a bit about training and nutrition, I have minimal experience with endurance events, this being my second ultra.
Stefan doesn’t just hand you a plan. He teaches you why each element matters and gives you the confidence to apply it on your own. He’s incredibly honest. He’ll recommend what works, but never pushes products or takes affiliate deals. I’ve even told him he should (I do affiliate marketing myself), but he never wants his guidance to be biased.
Just before we started working together, the Grand Canyon trails closed due to fires. When I told him I still wanted to do something comparable, he offered several alternatives. I chose the Great Yosemite Ultra, a roughly 45-mile, self-supported loop around Yosemite. It turned out to be the experience of a lifetime. Yosemite is absolutely gorgeous. It was my second time there, and I seriously wish everyone could see it the way I did this round.
Stefan took into account that I only had about six weeks to prepare and built a plan that got me ready to safely complete it. He guided me through everything, including nutrition, gear and navigation. When it came to details like which running vest to use, I didn’t have to waste time scouring the internet for reviews and hoping for the best. The first one he suggested fit perfectly. He’s generous with his time, his rates are more than fair, and the value he provides goes far beyond what he charges.
The Great Yosemite Ultra went well, especially considering we prepped for it in a relatively short time and that I was out there completely on my own with no aid stations. Afterward, we did a full recap of what went well, what didn’t, and where I could improve. I already knew I could’ve been in better shape with more time, but that just makes me even more excited to take things to the next level.
Next up is my first 100 mile race in Zion Canyon. Even though I now have the tools to train on my own, I wouldn’t do it without Stefan. I know I’ll go farther and faster with his help, and I couldn’t be more excited for this next challenge.”

“The Quad Rock 50 Miler is one of my favorite races. In fact, I’ve done it 7 times. Leading up to my sixth time, I worked with Stefan, who is a good friend of mine to create a plan that would help me PR at the event. With Stefan’s help, I was able to run a 21 minute PR, which was huge for me.”

“Stefan is a hardworking and curious person who is always searching for ways to learn more about running, nutrition, and personal development. He’s always been a go-to friend and mentor for running and racing advice, and I consider him a big influence in my decision to start running ultras. He also has very good trail clothing style — I have copied him by buying a running flannel and I get tons of compliments.”

“I’ve known Stefan for a while now, and one thing that always stands out is his passion for helping runners reach their full potential. Although I haven’t been personally coached by him, we’ve had countless conversations about training and running. Stefan is not only incredibly knowledgeable, having run many races himself, but he’s also dedicated to doing the right thing and guiding others to do the same. What sets him apart is his approach to coaching – he doesn’t just give you a plan; he teaches you how to implement tools and protocols that help you grow as a runner in the long term. Stefan’s expertise, combined with his genuine kindness and commitment, make him an exceptional coach and a great friend. I highly recommend Stefan to anyone looking to elevate their running journey.”
